Lungs are Looking Good-12.12.14

Yesterday was a little rough. Amber had this great night and even went without a fever for part of the day. Then as the day went on she got worse and worse. So discouraging!! By evening her whole body was shaking and she had a nice fever going on. THEN she had another great peaceful night. Soon after midnight she slept peacefully with no extra meds. As of right now NO FEVER and Amber has an excellent heart rate.
I met with the lung doctor yesterday. Amber’s lungs are looking great! But he told me of another concern. (Are you kidding me?!) Our breathing from our nose/mouth down to our throat is such a small area and yet it is the most difficult. He is concerned her muscles are floppy in there, which is a HUGE problem. When she comes off the ventilator, they will immediately run a scope to see what is going on. I am told she could have had low muscle tone her whole life and was just getting by before all this. Add a surgery in, a tube down your throat and it might be worse.
Please continue to pray. Her lungs are clear! We prayed for that!!! Never underestimate your words and prayers. That was YOUR PRAYERS!
Please pray specifically for:
--muscles to be strong and work right, especially in her facial/throat area.
—the source of her fever to be found and/or eliminated
—guidance for the doctors with no mistakes made
Lastly, I can’t thank you enough for the support. I take in every word written or said to us. It all has meaning and is getting us through. Ultimately we are in complete acceptance of what happens. We are not in control and God ALWAYS does what is good and right. We are not here to dictate to Him what should and shouldn’t happen. But we can plead and present to Him our requests. And that’s what I am doing. Standing on his Word and promises. Still believing this journey will bring Him glory and make this mama happy. Please believe with me.
