Amber is continuing to improve….baby steps. I think I failed to mention that Amber has not had a fever since she came off the ventilator!!! I say she had the “tube fever”. Yesterday Amber sat in her wheelchair for three hours!! She did extremely well. She will sit in it every day now. Today she will also get a “real” hair washing. Since we have been here, she has received a cap wash, which is really cool, but not the real thing. They put a cap on that has water and shampoo, massage her head, then take it off. It works!
