Post From Amber's Sister-Hayley-1.7.15

"If one could run without getting tired, I don't think one would often want to do anything else." - C.S. Lewis
Ever since reading this statement from C.S.Lewis years ago, I've thought of heaven, and how that could quite possibly be the only time anyone could experience running without growing weary. Running is fun for me, but the fun is ripped away as soon as I find myself in a tiring state.
I held that desire to run without tiring in the back of my head for so long, and I still do. This desire made me long for heaven even more so than before just so I could attempt this seemingly impossible task.
I cannot help but think about how much Amber could be enjoying her first run. She couldn't run on earth. Her body restricted her in ways that nobody would want to experience. Fully restored in the presence of our Heavenly Father, she can experience this sensation that's only possible through complete restoration.
Amber can "run and not grow weary" in the presence of God.
This thought is such a simple comfort, but it does wonders for me like you wouldn't believe! I wouldn't wish any other fate on her now that I think about it. How much better must she feel? What she can do now is something Id never ask her to give up no matter how much I want to see her smile and hear her laugh. I hope she's running. I think she'd love it.
