Today I went down to the cafeteria and got a sandwich. The guy in front of me paid for my sandwich!! He turned and said "Merry Christmas." I told him thank you and it certainly will be a Merry Christmas because my daughter is going home TODAY after 20 days on a ventilator and 26 days in ICU. He blessed me so much, but I think I blessed him even more! He said I made his Christmas this year and thanked me over and over for telling him that. I can't stop smiling! What an awesome experience for us both! And yes, you heard right, Amber is going home today!!!
